Full Time - 39 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Family Support Worker position in Green Lanes Family Centre, working with an enthusiastic and friendly team.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working as a member of a team that promotes an environment that safeguards and protects children; and can use a variety of methods to actively engage and support families.

We are looking for someone who has;

  • At least a Level 3 in a recognised professional qualification in health, education, childcare, social care or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the importance of safeguarding children
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of working with families (desired)

The role will involve;

  • Supporting hard to reach families.
  • Delivering 1:1 programmes of support in order to achieve the best outcomes for a family.
  • Keeping accurate records so a good level of computer literacy is essential
  • Partnership working
  • Hours will be set between 8am – 6pm
  • Some evening and Saturday work on occasion

Applicants will require an enhanced DBS check. Car Driver, with own car essential.
