Nursery Manager

Starjumps Nursery, Borehamwood

Full Time (39 Hours per week)

Salary £30k - £36k (depending on experience)

We have an exciting opening for a Nursery Manager at Starjumps Nursery Borehamwood, working with an enthusiastic and friendly team in a purpose built nursery, baby rooms and garden.

We are looking for someone who ideally has;

  • A minimum of 3 years qualifying experience
  • At least 2 years in a management role in a day care/nursery setting
  • Experience of providing staff supervision and line management
  • Knowledge and experience of the EYFS

The role will involve;

  • Ensuring the nursery delivers a high quality service to families and build on the recent ‘Good’ OFSTED rating
  • Meeting occupancy and financial targets
  • Working in partnership with Parents/Carers, the leadership team on site and external agencies
  • Help plan and support the nursery team with planning, providing and taking part in all group activities
  • Lead, manage and motivate the Nursery team and other colleagues

Education/Qualifications;

  • Level 4 in Early Years Childcare and Education or equivalent
  • Current Child Protection Certificate
  • Paediatric first aid trained
