There is an exciting opportunity available to manage InspireAll’s Park Events and 96 Shenley Road Community Centre. Building on a successful programme of community events, this rewarding post is ideal for someone with flair and a passion for making people smile. Combining the role with managing a modern community centre provides a broad range of opportunities and responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To plan, organise and deliver a range of activities in Hertsmere’s parks; including outdoor films, music events and fun-days.
  • To work with Hertsmere Borough Council, parish councils and other partners to coordinate events across the borough, increasing outdoor participation.
  • To develop commercial opportunities to ensure sustainability.
  • To manage 96 Shenley Road Community Centre, including managing the small team, working with building partners and the client council.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in organising events or community activities.
  • Good communication abilities, in person and in writing.
  • The ability to manage a team of staff.
  • Some technical background would be an advantage.
  • Full UK driving licence.
