An exciting opportunity has arisen for part time Exercise Referral Instructor to join an enthusiastic and friendly team within InspireAll.

As part of our social responsibility towards the improvement of the health and wellbeing of our local community, InspireAll offers a Physical Activity Referral Service across Hertsmere. In Hertsmere the scheme runs at Bushey Grove Leisure Centre, The Furzefield Centre in Potters Bar, and The Venue Leisure Centre in Borehamwood

An exercise referral scheme is where there is a referral by an appropriate professional to a service where there is a formalized process of assessment of that person’s need; the development of a tailored physical activity programme to meet that need and monitoring of the individual’s progress.

We are looking for someone who has experience of;

• Delivering an exercise referral scheme or similar funded project in partnership with the local health authority.
• Conducting inductions, programmes, fitness assessments and other customer services in a professional manner.
• Motivating and inspiring confidence to customers of varying abilities and age groups.
• Level 3 Diploma in Exercise Referral required

The role will involve;

• You having a current, clean driving licence and be willing to work across a number of facilities.
• Working with the Exercise Referral coordinator on the development and expansion of InspireAll’s Referral scheme.
• Assisting with outreach projects when needed.
